Chapter 1
It was an early, hot summer day as Sonic yawned.
'Hey, what am I doing on the couch?' Sonic wondered to himself.
Then he remembered the events of the past few days.
'Oh, right.'
He looked down at the sleeping cat on his lap.
'She's beautiful even when she's out of it.'
Sonic swiftly slid out of Blaze's grasp, but did it so fast that she wouldn't have noticed it awake.
He did a backflip and sped out the door, hoping to get some fresh air before his lover woke up.
"I wonder what Tails is doing." He asked himself, and set on course for the Kitsunes house.
Tails of course, being the young little boy he is, was still fast asleep.
Though that changed when Sonic arrived.
He kicked open the door.
"HEEEEEEEEEEY TAAAAAAILS!" He yelled at the top ofo his lungs.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" Tails shouted before flying up on the roof and latching himself there.
"Sonic? Do you know what time it is!?" He scolded groggily, flying down slowly.
The Door slamed open again.
"SSOOOOOOOOOOOOOONIKKKUUUUUUUUU!"
Sonic and Tails both flew up to the roof.
Sonic opened an eye to see Amy at the door.
"Amy, what are you doing here?"
Tails flew down again, but Sonic dropped like a rock.
"Sonic, I was wondering if you had any swimming trunks Silver could borrow! We're going to the beach!" She asked.
"Two things. 1. Shouldn't you knock!?"
Tails looked at Sonic, noticing the hippocryticy...I think.
"And 2. Wouldn't Silver need to walk before he could swim?" Sonic finished.
"But he can walk! The Docter said he made an astoundingly fast recovery!"
Sonic's mouth went agape.
Tails, however, looked confused.
"Sonic, Silver's in the hospital? since when?"
Sonic slapped his face.
He had forgotten to fill in his little buddy.
"I'll tell you later. Okay Amy, I'll go home and get some stuff. Heck, why don't we all got o the beach?" Sonic said.
"Oh great! I'll finally be able to use my new invention!"
Tails ran into his workshop.
"I'll get ready, tell Silver to meet us at the beach." Sonic instructed.
"Us?" Amy asked.
"Of course, I'm bringing Blaze." Sonic said excitedly.
"Okay, then I'll call Cream. See you there!"
And with that, both Hedgehogs ran off, getting ready to go to the beach.
