Here are the things I can buy with village funds. how do you get village funds? by killing outsiders thats how. and YES they changed the price of regeneration.
-Regeneration increase 3425 (As the population increases this increases as well, Also REGEN might or might not be temporary)

V. Genin and Academy Students’ Dummy Guide To Success
Run errands and save money for a small apartment, then train up your
offensive ninjutsu skill and your clone jutsu ability (dont level up)
then go pwn in the Battle arena to get more money to continue to level
your other jutsu. with your 7 regen Foccus on evening all your defenses
and pick 1 offense, (doesnt have to be ninjutsu that's just to get you
started so you can get past the sad puppy. and keep going from there.
